For example, the top of the base (on ours) features the correct factory "bump" or rib-line. The cheaper competitor versions do not. We also beefed-up the case-hardened die-cast zinc end ball to ensure longevity and quality and protect against mirror "droop", which could be a problem with mirrors found elsewhere. The bottom line?
